Неплохой и пожалуй, единсвенный клон серии СМ. Первая часть серии Panzer Command: Operation Winter Storm вышла в далеком 2004 году и была ориентирована в первую очередь на фанатов СMBtB (до выхода Нормандии было ещё 4 года). Выглядела игра в сравнении с CMBtB внешне симпатичнее и в целом почти полностью копировала конкурента. При этом был ряд серьезных недостатков. В первую очередь это более скромное кол-во приказов. Вторым недостатком был более скромный набор сценариев - война шла в окрестностях Сталинграда, зимой. Ну и возросшие системные требования. В 2008 вышла следующая часть Panzer Command: Kharkov. Кардинальных изменений она не привнесла. Графически осталась прежней. Как не трудно догадаться героем дня стал город герой Харьков.

В 2011 году собрав остатки совести в кулак Matrix Games выпустила финальную часть серии Panzer Command: Ostfront. Основательно поработав над наполнением им удалось выпустить более менее вменяемую игру способную увлечь фанатом пошаговых варгеймов до выхода Combat Mission посвященной середине или началу войны. Игра включает в себя увесистый набор кампаний и сценариев, включая генерируемые. Все прежде вышедшие кампании Сталинграда и Харькова так же были включены в игру. Подрихтовали графику, улучшили физическую модель. По сравнению с CMBtB игра стала смотреться совсем хорошо. Под спойлером полный список улучшений.

Make your own maps of historical locations. Designed to work with public terrain and height databases to automatically generate a 3D terrain mesh from real-world data. Pick your location, pick your map size and click! Additional tools to automate the placement of structures and items such as trees and shrubs assist map designers in putting together a realistic map in record time.
Panzer Command now supports 500m, 750m, 1000m, 1500m and 2000m maps. This allows the vast majority of historical WWII battles to be properly modelled and the larger map sizes allow plenty of room for maneuver.
The Scene Editor has also been improved for easier tweaking of object placement.

Что я могу сказать. А ничего! Сам играл недолго. Большим фанатом PBEM с ИИ не являюсь. Но ряд находок, плюс отсутсвие у СМ достойного ответа про Восточный фрон даже в отдаленной перспективе, делают эту игру хорошим вариантом скоротать пару боев в битве за Севастополь (там прям реальные орудия стоят) и выбить немцев из Сталинграда. Ставим так. Запускаем установщик игры, доходим до пукнта о вводе ключа. Запускаем DWSetupCrack жмем Crack, ждём пока взломает, после чего вводим любой набор цифр в поле ключа. 1111-1111-1111-1111 например.
После чего устанавливаем и запускаем игру. Патчим так же. После патча нужно заного выставить настройки графики в игре перед запуском.

Это особенно хорошо, так как дико нравится первая миссия Panzer Command: Operation Winter Storm. Я эту миссию переигрывал раз 20 наверное, очень уж мне запала. А вот дальше не играю, ибо там дальше слишком много подразделений дают в руки, за всеми не успеваю уследить, да и последующие карты не столь хороши. До сих пор держу игру на диске из-за той одной миссии.
В архив Panzer Command: Operation Winter Storm добавлена оригинальная англ. версия. (была версия от Акеллы с переводом). Позволяет поставить последний патч 1.13. Ключ в наличии.
