Added new economics system, which is based on resources production in villages and towns. Native enterprices were changed to factories, which behave like their historical counterparts. Besides buying factory, player can also invest in exisiting ones.
Added new internal politics system, which simulates each country's political parties and movements, including state laws, parliaments, elections, rebellions and more. Population now will react to economical and political situation in country, and unsuccessful policies can lead to revolution and civil war.
Added possibility to enlist in any faction army. You will start as regular soldier and have possibility to make up a military career and become an NCO (commanding one company within your commander party), then become independent commander (similar to Native vassal), and then to reach the top rank, becoming the faction marshall.
Added machine guns. They become available after researching Machine Guns technology. They have spawn limit of 2 per team and are being attached to Field Guns batteries until "Infantry MG Tactics" technology research, which increases MG limit to 5 per team and adds "MG crew" company type.
Added new 1900's artillery-related technology which changes artillery models to Great War era ones, increases reloading speed and adds heavy howitzers. Heavy howitzers reload slower but deal more damage.
Added possibility to dig in for line and guard infantry. After researching Modern Defence technology, "Dig In" ability button appears in aerial view. After activating it, soldiers will take shovels and start digging. During next 12 seconds, trenches will appear. Troops in trenches receive much less damage from explosions and are harder to hit with small arms. AI uses trenches while defending.
Added shock troops company type which becomes available after researching technology of the same name. Shock troops use carbines, thus having less firing accuracy, while having better running speed, melee damage and decreased discipline penalty from enemy fire, and being able to use powerful "Grenade attack" ability.
Added "Suppression Fire" switchable ability which becomes available after researching technology of the same name. Turning on suppression fire will increase shooting speed and decreasing enemy discipline level three times faster, on exchange of drastically decreasing your own accuracy.
Added "Gas Attack" ability for artillery which becomes available after researching technology of the same name. After activating it, artillery fires gas shells once, which deal area damage to enemies not wearing a gasmask. After researching this technology, gasmasks beocme available to be put on.
Added in-battle voicing for 8 languages - English, German, Russian, Spanish, French, Italian, Turkish and Polish. NCOs will react to orders and battle situations. Player can choose their custom troops language in custom troops menu.
Added possibility to start game in 1878, 1891, 1908 and 1914 years, each having historical borders within covered territory.
Added Kingdom of Bulgaria faction, which appears in game if started after 1878 year.
Added Principality of Albania faction, which appears in game if started in 1914 year.

Added new weapon trees for minor factions. Magazine rifles for some factions are divided into early and late ones.
Number of lords in factions now depends on faction population and army size setting that can be set in reports. High army size setting will incerase number of lords but will negatively impact economy and national budget.
"Talk to village elder/town mayor" options has been added to the menus.
Added optional iron sight aiming animation mode that can be enabled in camp menu.
Changed combat attacking AI. Now it uses fire and running more. AI defenders can turn into attackers during battle.
Removed minor buff technologies. All cannons now use percussion explosive shells by start in 1860.
Removed the limit of artillery shells in battle.
"Follow me", "Advance 10 paces" and "Fall back 10 paces" orders are now working.
Minister now spawns in any city player enters as faction leader.
